2026 Miniature Gardens

I swapped out the Halloween treat party theme for a spooky garden this year. The metal garden cart and bench were originally white, but that's not very spooky, so a can of ultra matte black spray paint fixed that issue. The ceramic Monarch caterpillar, flying bats, frog, black cat, and tarantula are from the Little Critterz line. Three air plants are displayed in the cart and the spiny succulents are perfect for a Halloween garden.

Visitors always find The Witches' Garden by my front door since it's my favorite. This year, I added more little potion bottles filled with shiny German glass glitter or tiny confetti, eyeballs, and a small ceramic skull stuffed with pink reindeer moss for brains.

The small metal silhouette witches are from Etsy. The small purple rocks are aquarium gravel. Don't usually have luck with the String-of-Pearls plant, so crooked fingers crossed this year. The black-and-white striped ceramic pots are from Pettiti Garden Center in Oakwood Village.

Switching from Halloween to an Asian-inspired garden. The fisherman reminds me of my Grandpa Watanabe and I used a little branch to replicate a bamboo fishing pole. When we lived on Maui, we used bamboo poles for fishing, so that always brings back good memories.

Posting photos of my large in-ground fairy dwelling, a mythical creatures/cryptids, and 70s themed garden next month. They were recently planted and need some time to get extra pretty.

Happy miniature gardening!
