Happy Halloween

Today is the day! The day was off to a good start with candy corn waffles from Shayne.  Shayne is our resident waffle pro.

Cole and I are making a pumpkin pie since that is our family tradition.  It's a sunny day and not sure what to expect with trick-or-treaters, but we've got our candy ready and Cole and Alyssa will pass out treats.

Sending much Halloween love to you all! Have a safe and fun night!

Pumpkin Carving

Today, we celebrated Halloween weekend by carving our pumpkins.  Cole helped by making his first Halloween foods, spider pizzas and cookies.  He makes his momma so proud!

Orange wafer cookies decked out with the cutest sprinkles.

Hard at work carving pumpkins!

It wasn't the same without Cameron and Ali, but they carved their pumpkins up in Canada.

Happy Dance Thursday

I arrived home on Thursday afternoon to find a couple of boxes on our doorstep.  The first one was addressed from artist extraordinaire Greg Guedel!  You know it's going to be something good when you see that label on the box.  This very sweet gift was an October surprise from my dear friend Anne.  Thank you so much for the thoughtful, generous gift.  I will treasure them always.

As if getting a box from Greg was not enough, my Etsy Halloween fabric order arrived too!  I have a bad Halloween fabric habit, but who can resist those dreamy colors and images?  I highly recommend Etsy seller Gardenia Fabrics.  The fabric quality is excellent, the order shipped quickly, and arrived professionally wrapped.

Happy Halloween!
