My newest creative endeavor combines my love of gardening and miniature items. Designing, collecting, and planting these little gardens makes my soul happy. It all started when I stumbled upon my old cement toad abode that was hiding behind some boxwoods and peonies. I'll be posting some photos soon of this in-ground miniature landscape that I've dubbed "My Retirement Home." I'm also in the process of creating a Tolkien-esque pot for my husband Chris and his love of D&D.
Of course, I had to create a Halloween garden and the inspiration for this pot came from miniature gardener Janit Calvo. Her book is an absolutely fantastic resource and the website is full of goodies. Very happy with my purchases from her website, Two Green Thumbs Miniature Garden Center.
